The show is open to local residents and entries must be made in the name of the person who grew/made them.

All flowers, trees, shrubs, fruit and vegetables must be grown by you. The only exception is in the flower arranging, where you can use materials to hand or that you have bought, unless otherwise specified.

The Committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

Judging

The judges’ decisions are final in all cases.

If there are insufficient entries in any one class, one or more prizes may be withheld.

The judges are not obliged to award prizes where they think they are not merited.

Prizes and Cups

Prize money in each class is as follows: 1st - £1.00, 2nd - 75p, 3rd - 50p.

You can enter up to three exhibits in any one class, but you may only win one money prize in any class.

The deadline for both on-line and paper-based entries is 7.30pm Friday 29th August

Paper based entry forms should be brought to the Village Hall on Friday 29th August between 6 and 7.30pm.

Late entries and amendments may be accepted at the discretion of the committee.

Setting Up on the Day  

A committee member will be available to provide further guidance, if needed.

Bring exhibits to the Village Hall on Saturday between 8.30 and 10.30 a.m.

You will be given an exhibitor’s card for each of your entries.

Place your exhibit and card in the appropriate class section, with your name facing down.

Make sure you have the correct number or size of items for each class.

Once you have set up your exhibits please vacate the hall as soon as possible, out of respect for other entrants.

Set up your entries before 10.30am when the hall will be closed for judging.

We respectfully ask that you do not remove your exhibits until after 4.00pm when you will also be able to collect any prize money.
